INSPECTION,SERVICE,DEFECT RECTIFICATION

Am off work for two days,i guess i deserve some rest. anyway i am just going to write down here a couple of jobs that i did before my 2days off.
on september,2010. i did carryout safety inspection on a mini bus optare solo,vehicle type m850,mileage 000,000,mercedes engine type om904la. which has been with the company i work for some years now. the vehicle drive very well and there is nothing major to do really. other than some defect that i found after i completed the safety inspection.

Foglight was not working on near side--it was because of a faulty wire, which i replace.
Silencer mounting rubber split x2--i replaced the rubber.
Off side and near side kingpin has slight freeplay or lift--i grease it up and recheck it was better.
Alternator v belt crack and wear-- i fitted a new v belt.
Air filter dirty--i replaced the filter.
Screen wash low--i top it up.
propshaft need greasing-- so i grease it up.
took the tyres threads depth...
Regauge the tyres pressure PSI.
check the strength of the battery electrolytes
check the strength of the antifree in the coolant .
Retorque all the wheels to the specify settings.
then road test again....

Second job i did on sept,2010. mercedes bus,engine type om364,vehicle type 709d, mileage 35,000.
i carryout the safety inspection as usual as require by the motoring governing bodies...
here is just a list of defect that i found...
Near side front bumper bolt undone--i fitted new bolt and tighten.
Near side rear bumper to body undone--i drill through and reveted.
Load sensing valve bush worn--i fitted new bushes.
Front wheels rim looking rust slight-- i give it a good rub down ,then primer, and repaint.
Exhaust tail pipe rusty and corroded--i fitted new tail pipe and clamps.
Air filter dirty--i replaced the filter.
Screen wash low--i top it up.
propshaft need greasing-- so i grease it up.
took the tyres threads depth...

Emergeny exit handle screw undone---i fitted new screw and tighten.
Automatic gearlever slight stiff when changing gear--lubricate
Off side and Near side mirror mounting bolt undone--i fitted new bolt and tighten.
Off side rear brake pad lower than Near side-- service caliper,replaced brake pads.
Off side rear hub seal leaking-- i replaced hub seal
