BASIC FUNCTION OF A CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER

  • THE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER IS A HYDRAULIC OPERATED DEVICE,THAT RECEIVE IT CONSTANT FEED OF HYDRAULIC FLUID (DOT4) FROM A NON PRESSURISE RESERVIOR.

  •  WHEN APPLY A PISTON INSIDE THE BORE OF THE MASTER CYLINDER DEPRESSES INWARDLY COMPRESSES AND TRANSFER THE FLUID THROUGH THE HYDRAULIC PIPE TO FEED THE HYDRAULIC CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER BOLTED MOSTLY TO THE GEARBOX TRAMSMISSION OR BELLHOUSING.

  • THE CLUTCH SYSTEM IS COMPRISES OF A HYDRAULIC MASTER CYLINDER AND A RESERVIOR SEALED CUP AND A PUSHROD THAT NEED ADJUSTING AND IT IS LINK OR BOLTED TO THE PETAL, A SLAVE CYLINDER AND A PUSHROD WHICH IS LINK TO THE GEARBOX TRANSMISSION FORK,TO ENABLE A PERFECT PRECISION AND OPERATION OF THE CLUTCH, HYDRAULIC PIPES THAT RUN DOWN FROM UNDER THE DASHBOARD OR ENGINE COMPARTMENT ,DOWN TO THE CHASSIS CONNECTING TO THE CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER.

  • IS A DEVICE THAT CONVERT HYDRAULIC FLUID INTO PRESSURISED FLUID IN A PERFECTLY SEALED BORED OR CAVITY IN THE SYSTEM, THIS PROCESS TAKE PLACE AFTER THE SYSTEM HAS BEEN FULLY BLEED AND THE APPLYING OF THE CLUTCH PETAL, TO ENABLE THE SELECTION OF VARIOUS GEARS.

  • THE CLUTCH PETAL IS DEPRESS FULLY SO THAT THE TRANSMISSION FORK,GEARBOX SPLINE/MAIN SHAFT ,RELEASE BEARING, CLUTCH PRESSURE PLATE,CLUTCH PLATE/DISC,SPIGOT BEARING AND FLYWHEEL CAN TRANSMIT OR TRANSFORM INTO A SINGLE UNIT TO ENABLE A SMOOTH GEAR CHANGES.
